AGM Tree Surgery

“ The AGM Tree Surgery company is incredible, and certainly came to my rescue! My dear husband would trim the evergreen ivy on the front wall of our bungalow every year just before spring, so it always looked very neat and tidy. Sadly, when he passed away a couple of years ago, the ivy continued to grow as quickly as ever, but I couldn't find a casual gardener eager to continue with my late husband's commitment to trimming it back. At the beginning of 2025, I realised that it had finally grown way out of control, and decided to look for a professional company that deals with ivy. I was both relieved and delighted to then find the AGM Tree Surgery website online. Within a few hours of sending my request for a quote, Rob sent me an email to arrange a visit, and within a couple of days, he was in the front garden viewing the ivy. He then explained that it had grown too long and thick to trim in the way my husband used to do, but I totally understood, and agreed that it would have to be cut right back to the wall. I was prepared to see it sadly looking bare, but it desperately needed to be done, and when I saw the result, I was really pleased. New shoots will begin to appear when spring and summer arrive, so it's still alive and healthy, which is reassuring. The AGM tree surgeons are a fantastic team, and work so well together, each with their own particular job to do. They have a variety of saws which are used with skill and precision, while someone is busy sweeping and gathering the falling stems of ivy to place in their truck. As a result, the work was done in just a few hours, and I was very impressed. Rob is incredibly friendly, and genuinely wants to please his clients, as shown when he gave me a call just before they finished the work, to update me about what they had done. He even informed me about a tile on the front apex of the roof that was found to be loose. I would not have known about that if Rob hadn't made me aware of it, and then proceeded to send me two photos of it by email in the evening. Professional and efficient are the two words that I would choose to describe the AGM team, and I'll certainly recommend them to my friends and family. I will hopefully be asking them to do more work for me in the future, as Rob informed me that they don't just deal with cutting trees and climbers, but also repair sheds, and build new ones too. They replace and repair fences as well, and help with almost anything in the garden that needs to be dealt with. Many thanks to each of the team who cut my ivy and cleared the stems. A big thanks too for Rob's professional and friendly manner throughout the whole project. It is much appreciated.”
