Removal Of Large Ash Tree Infected With Ash Die Back
Flint, Flintshire, North Wales
When dealing with trees with Ash die back. It can often be too dangerous for a the tree surgeon to climb the tree due to branches being too weak and brittle (due to the Ash die back). For this reason we favour using a crane. If access is possible, as it was in this case a crane is safer and will often make the job quicker. This means fewer man hours on the ground overall and translates into cost savings for the client compared to if we used more time consuming traditional methods.
On this job, the client opted to keep all the wood for logs and also the main trunk to hopefully use for a future wood working project.
We chipped the brash on site and removed it.
(Note. We forgot to take an after image when the job was completed, so the after image is still midjob when the dismantle was taking place.
