Dismantle Of Large Storm Damaged Conifer

In sunny Pentre Halkyn, Flintshire - today's job was the removal of a large conifer which had sustained some storm damage.
With buildings close by and the clients fuel tank at the base of the tree the safest option was to use a crane. This minimises the danger of damage to the surroundings and facilitates the ease of dismantle. By using a crane you can lower the tree surgeon on to the tree and you can remove larger parts of the tree at a time. This gives more control and is safer. It also usually means we can complete the job quicker than if we had to use more traditional methods. The large driveway also meant ease of access to set up the crane, which is not something we always get.
