Dismantle And Removal Of Large Eucalyptus Tree
Prestatyn, Denbighshire, North Wales
Large Eucalyptus tree which sadly had become too large for it's proximity. It was overhanging 3 adjacent properties including an NHS district nurse main site.
Client concerned should tree fail so we undertook a full take down.
Using a crane was the best solution - it is the safest for personnel and also reduces the risk of damaging surrounding properties. It also meant we were able to complete the job in one day. Without the crane you would have been looking at 2 - 3 days at least, and that would have been weather dependant. It would also have been more expensive.
Access to the owners property was not ideal, but we did manage get authority from the NHS to bring the crane onto NHS property after providing a copy of our public employers liability insurance and a risk assessment.
We selected a Saturday to cause the least disruption to the nurses car park. We arrived at 9am and we had completed the job by 3pm. All wood material and brash removed from the site. This included the removal of 4 tonnes of woodchip and 20 tonnes of timber.
Client relieved tree dismantled, and on day of storm Kathleen 06.04.24.
Very happy and relieved customer.
