Dismantle A Dead Sycamore Tree With A TPO
To dismantle and remove a dead Sycamore tree with a TPO on it in Flint, in Flintshire. The tree was located on the side of a road.
A TPO is a 'Tree Preservation Order' - This is an order made by a local planning authority (county or county borough council or national park authorities) which in general makes it an offence to cut down, top, lop, uproot, wilfully damage or wilfully destroy a tree without the planning authority’s permission.
Before work could be commenced on the Sycamore with a TPO on it, AGM tree Surgery had to submit the relevant paperwork, liaise with, and receive permission from the local planning authority to complete the work.
Due to the tree's location, traffic management and lights were put in position for safety. A crane was used to dismantle the tree with all the branches stripped away and main stem removed all in good time minimising any disruption to the local area.
AGM Tree surgery work with TPO's all the the time, so if you need advice on your own tree that needs attention give Rob at AGM Tree Surgery a ring.
